Abergavenny RFC are pleased to inform its members and supporters that the Club has been awarded a grant by the WRU and Sports Wales to install solar panels as part of their Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation Project for 2022/23.
The installation of the solar panels will significantly reduce the Club's annual electricity costs and a step forward in the Club's ambition to be a carbon neutral facility, while continuing to provide an opportunity for all age groups to participate in the community game in the Abergavenny area, i.e. grass roots rugby the lifeblood of the Welsh rugby.
Installation works are planned to commence in late May with a completion date in mid June, we will keep you posted on progress.
