TICKET APPLICATION POLICY

Dear Members/Sponsors,

May I first thank you on behalf of the Club for your continued support, without which we would find it difficult to continue to provide for the playing sections and facilities we currently enjoy.  At our AGM in June 2018 it was noted that the club has over the past couple of years sustained a financial loss with International tickets, due in the main to ordering tickets in anticipation of Members/Sponsors requirements only to find the take up fell short of the number actually requested.

In an effort to eliminate these losses which I am sure you will agree the club can ill afford, it has been agreed by committee that all future International ticket applications by members and sponsors must be made in writing preferably through the clubs ticket email address griffab@tiscali.co.uk applications must contain your name, address, type of membership, price of tickets requested along with your telephone number and e-mail address to enable our ticket co-ordinator Brian Griffiths to contact you direct. For those who do not have access to e-mail application slips will be available from behind the bar.

WRU ticket allocation and application deadlines will be posted on the Club`s website and notice board, please ensure that your application is submitted prior to the deadline date, to enable the Club to place your order with the WRU. Although every effort will be made to meet your request this cannot be guaranteed, except for club debenture holders, Claret Club and 100 Club Members. Please check the website and notice board regularly each year in September for Six Nation’s games and in May for the Autumn Internationals, for application deadlines. (There shall be no Autumn Internationals in 2019 due to the Rugby World Cup in Japan)

You will be informed by the Club`s Ticket Secretary (Brian Griffiths) if you gave been successful in your application for international tickets and the number of tickets you have been allocated in line with your application. 

Tickets must be paid for in the following ways (this also applies to members who have requested an invoice). 

1. Either, prior to collection by BACS transfer (Abergavenny RFC Ltd, Sort Code: 20-45-45, Account no: 60448842)

2. Debit or Credit card payment accross the bar at the club

3. Cash

4. by Cheque

So as not to offend please be aware no tickets will be distributed until payment has been received.

In anticipation thank you for your co-operation and your continued support.

This new ticket procedure will commence from the 2019 Six Nations games. 

This new procedure will be adopted for all future Autumn and Six Nations International games.
