Clarets Continue to Struggle on the Road

Abergavenny 1st XV travelled to Glan-yr-afon park to play Blackwood in the league after a few weeks off. Having observed a minute’s silence both teams paid their respects during the playing of the last post. The game began with both teams wanting to play an open brand of rugby with a willingness to run the ball. Aber won an early penalty which scrum half Lewis Evans converted to give the clarets a three-point lead. Some loose kicking from the away side gave Blackwood the opportunity to run the ball from deep resulting in a converted try for the home team. The first half concluded with fur.....
